BAOTAI CEO Attends 2024 International Conference on Sustainable Development Cooperation

On October 22, 2024, BAOTAI attended the 2024 International Conference on Sustainable Development Cooperation and the China-EU (Jinan) Green and Low-Carbon Economy Cooperation Conference in Jinan, Shandong Province. During these events, the company reached a preliminary cooperation agreement with a South Korean firm.


To further advance the transition toward a green and low-carbon economy as well as high-quality development, accelerate the establishment of pilot zones for such growth, and strengthen comprehensive cooperation between Jinan and Europe, the 2024 International Conference on Sustainable Development Cooperation and the China-EU (Jinan) Green and Low-Carbon Economy Cooperation Conference will be held in Jinan from October 22 to 24 this year.


Themed “Shared Growth through Low-Carbon Initiatives,” the conference is co-organized by the Shandong Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Jinan Municipal Government, and the German Federal Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. Key activities include a main forum on sustainable development, the 2024 China-EU (Jinan) Green Opportunities Fair, the German Federal Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises’ China Future Day, presentations on green industry projects and showcases of China-EU cooperation results in this sector, economic exchange events featuring international business representatives visiting Jinan, training sessions on green supply chain management in international trade, and on-site visits by European companies to Jinan.



The main conference sessions will take place at the Shandong Mansion on October 22. Approximately 700 participants will gather there, including business officials and diplomats from European countries and Belt and Road partner nations, leaders of trade associations, experts and scholars, representatives from business and finance sectors, and executives from major enterprises. Chinese industry experts, officials from regulatory agencies, park managers, leaders of trade and industry associations, as well as executives from multinational corporations and local firms will also be in attendance. They will discuss topics such as international cooperation in green and low-carbon sustainable development, green high-quality enterprise development, and improving energy efficiency.
